At Gold Coast Rainbow Communities, our sponsors are vitally important to us, and we value the active engagement of our sponsors with our LGBTQIA+ communities. Our sponsors enable us to hold more events, make our events more accessible and allow us to pay our staff, artists, and creatives.

OUR SPONSORS

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY

We acknowledge the Aboriginal and TorresStrait Islander peoples of Australia, the traditional custodians of the lands and water. GCRC respectfully acknowledges the Kombumerri people of the Yugambeh language region, who are the traditional owners of the land and waters on which we meet, work and play. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging; we affirm their ongoing connection to and care for country; and we recognise that sovereignty was never ceded.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF OUR ELDERS

We pay our respects to those amongst the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and intersex communities who have worked to support the improved health and wellbeing of their peers, children, families, friends, and country. We honour the elders in the diverse communities of which we are a part and we celebrate the extraordinary diversity of people's bodies, genders, sexualities, and relationships that they represent.
